ACE Premium Wins 2 Silver and 2 Bronze at the 2026 Yonex Northwest Open Regional Championship – Seattle
ACE Premium Badminton Academy brought home four medals from the 2026 Yonex Northwest Open Regional Championship in Seattle: two silver and two bronze, earned by Ishi Reddy and Peter Lei.
Held at Bellevue Badminton Club, this year's Northwest Open threw our players a new challenge — the 15-point, best-of-three scoring format. Shorter games, faster rallies, zero margin for a slow start. Our players adapted quickly, playing the aggressive, front-foot badminton this format rewards.
Two silvers and two bronzes mark a strong weekend for the academy, but the bigger win was the experience: learning to manage the tempo of a faster format, staying composed when every point counts, and trusting their training when it mattered most.
Congratulations to Ishi and Peter, and to every ACE player who competed in Seattle. The lessons from this weekend go straight back to the training court. On to the next stop.
